St Paul's Cathedral, St Paul's Churchyard, London EC4M 8AD & Merchant Taylors' Hall, 30 Threadneedle Street, London EC2R 8JB
Our Festival Service this year will be held on Tuesday 9th May in St Paul's Cathedral at 5pm. It will be attended by the Lord Mayor and Sheriffs, Aldermen, Bishops, representatives from the City Livery Companies and many others.
The preacher will be The Most Reverend and Right Honourable The Lord Archbishop of York. The music will be provided by the choir of St Paul's Cathedral, directed by Andrew Carwood, and the choirs of Chichester Cathedral and Chester Cathedral.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Festival Service and an application form for tickets, which are free, can be found on this page. Please complete and return the form by Friday 3rd March 2017. There is always a high demand for tickets so please send your form to us promptly. It is planned to send out tickets in the second half of April.
Please note that a bag search will be in operation at all entrances to the Cathedral.
After the Festival Service we will be holding a Dinner at Merchant Taylors' Hall. Our speaker at the dinner this year will be the Reverend Richard Coles, who is a priest in Northamptonshire. In complete contrast, more than a quarter of a century ago, Richard was the instrumentalist half of pop band, The Communards. He is also co-presenter of BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live and is regularly seen as a guest panellist on shows such as Have I Got News for You and QI.
The cost of the Dinner will be £100 per person. Our numbers are limited and if the Dinner is oversubscribed a ballot will be held. An application form for tickets can be found on this page.
